#14Brain aneurysm is truly something terrible, I lost a friend to it a couple of years ago. (She was 22 at the time and in good health). She just woke up one day in the middle of the night with a headache and had to vomit. On the way to the hospital she fell into a coma and never woke up. Really scary.

#18The Mythbusters were incredibly influential in my desire to pursue engineering. I also liked watching Battlebots, seeing all the crazy things they would come up with...

#20So very sad to lose a hero, I was lucky to be crammed right next to him at Pershing Square in a very crowded group at the March for Science in Downtown Los Angeles a couple years ago. He was very friendly, I was starstruck. I wish I could have chatted with him more.
