I'm curious - why do you want to disable it?

Because I want to use my own DNS server and block ads at the DNS level rather than the browser level. With this move, Google has effectively white listed adsense / adwords to not be blocked regardless of the network settings of the device.

I switched to Firefox years ago and never looked back.

It is weird not more people just respond this way rather than getting all worked up about it...

Also not opening external applications links in incognito mode if that is the last (or the only) chrome window with a focus. It still drives me nuts.

Signed exchanges are quite neat actually, they do not seem to depend on AMP at all. You could even use them to get arbitrary static resources hosted via IPFS in a seamless way.

I switched to Firefox the moment they hid the `www` prefix.

What’s so bad about hiding www? I kind of prefer it hidden

OK, I just don’t get it anymore. I mean I’m a happy Firefox user, so it’s not like this personally impacts me, but how in the heck is seemingly nobody acknowledging that this has been the behavior in Safari for a long time now? This seems to be a recurring pattern.

It's weird that people like a particular browswer for a number of its feature, but are upset about a change that makes it worse?
