Note, I am not a racist person I just have not seen evidence within several orders of magnitude to warrant this wreckless behavior. node.js has about as much business making political statements like these as it does trying to make npm the defacto package manager for client-side JavaScript.

Any person or organization can choose to make a political statement. Why not node.js? In this case, I happen to agree with their statement and you don't. But, even if the opposite were true, I would still support the right for anyone to publicize their political beliefs.

I am not suggesting that you cannot act against someone's "wrong" belief. If I was significantly against this message posted by node.js, I have the choice to not use node.js anymore.
