I understand that no small amount of their traffic has to do with him using Twitter as his primary megaphone to the world, but they are under no obligation whatsoever to continue to provide him said megaphone.

Almost every country can produce bad/authoritarian/populist leaders time to time.
The point is to learn and not keep them in long term. Trump is probably done, and he will loose next election badly. These are his narcissistic hissy fits, as he knows he is losing badly. The US has a very healthy democracy in the long run, and term limits help on this. There is no chance in Trump turning into a Erdogan, or Hungary's Orban. He most likely will be voted out this upcoming election.
