Exactly the same thing would happen if you asked people if they'd rather be on vacation forever. Yes, but after a few months, they'd be begging to get back to work.

#8Sadly many tech workers can barely afford more than shared accommodation or tiny apartments. Wondering that is the half that would rather waste away in crammed offices, long commute hours and lack of privacy from flatmates.

Children probably. Don't get me wrong, I love being home and spending time with the family more, it's really the best part of this experience for me.
But there's no way I'd be able to be as productive as expected under normal circumstances. I'm lucky if I get 4 hours in.

The sample size is smaller, but the older age ranges actually have a higher percentage of wanting to work from home permanently.
