I'm curious who puts their phone number and home address into their Facebook profiles. This information is not needed to use Facebook in the same way as it would be for my bank to maintain my checking account there.

What is the benefit of giving Facebook that information? I can only see ignorance as the only reason someone would do such a thing.

Why does anyone give Facebook an email account password? Facebook asks for it, so they hand it over. It's Social Engineering 101.
