as long as there is openstreetmap data for it It should work for rural areas as well :)

#4It's really simple looking, but I entered my city, and I just love the graphic that was rendered. Is there any chance of making it produce SVGs to download?

Yes, but it is (as of this moment) an experimental feature.
Add "?svg=1" to the end of the URL to enable this feature [0].

Yeah I was genuinely blown away by how fast this rendered every street in Chicago on mobile, a very side-street dense city.
