I love how often I see this statement, then I realize it doesn't apply to me. Absolutely the same standards I hold for my own country, the French, etc. I hold for the Isrealis and the Japanese. Why should racism and xenophobia be OK because it's happening in Japan or Israel?

Did Parisians continue speaking to you in French? I found that they immediately switched to English when I spoke French to them. I'm level B1, what level would you say you are/how many years of instruction have you got?

You may find squat toilets along the autoroute in resting areas without restaurants and gas station, and maybe at some campings, but I've never seen any in a bar or restaurant, let alone a hotel.

Simply pointing out that an iconic city in EUROPE has a large amount of non-Europeans is a dogwhistle? Parisian culture is all but dead and it’s a tragedy.

Not just pointing it out, but putting it in a list of extreme negatives to the city.

Are you familiar with the concept of euphemism and dog whistles? Please tell me what visual (since OP mentioned how Parisians "look") characteristic you presumed OP had in mind.

I assumed that comment had to do with fashion (or attractiveness).

It could be referring to race, but the fact that you "can't imagine" what else it could refer to says a lot about you and nothing at all about the original poster.
