One off the satellites where apparently already dead and would not respond to commands when they got it mounted on the rocket. But they launched it anyway.

Some lawyer is kicking themselves for writing a shitty contract.

Probably didn’t anticipate the delta in load in the flight plan?

Are they recovering the fairing again?

Per the reddit thread on the launch, the fairing recovery ships are all in port. It's not clear why.

According to comments on Ars, the seas were too rough on Saturday for the ships to safely steam into position.

59/60 seems reasonable to go anyway. Launch windows are small and delays are hella expensive

They are going for scale, where missing launch window is more expensive than just launching the rest of the payload.

And in this case, if dead, the satellite will be used as a science experiment

Are there photos of just the Starlink satellites? I know the impressiveness of the stack of them, but I can’t tell what I’m looking at without seeing one outside of the stack. It’s like showing a photo of a geologic specimen without a scale reference.

It's not a photo, but there's a render (originally from SpaceX's Starlink website): https://techcrunch.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/satellite_...

The red arrows indicate the phased-array antennas.

4th reuse. Wow didn't realise they were that deep in already. Thought reuse was still conceptual

Yep! The first reuse of a booster was actually two and a half years ago; they've been gradually increasing the amount of reflights since.
