Switzerland has some of the largest corporations in the world in the pharmaceutical industry, and they're by far leaders in the watchmaking industry. Banking isn't the only business they rely on.

He's saying that we're too use to kill each other in Europe, and we need some external power as middleman to keep heads cool, which is true. Just before the Ukranian war started I thought another war in Europe was nearly impossible. And here we are.
