By “unknown”, does that mean that none of the source addresses that collectively sent the sum to one address did not have previous transactions from sources that were known? I rather doubt it, unless the sources were mining wallets (which would show up as coin bases).

On my phone I’m not going to research it :)

You could, but you'd also have to modify the checksum built into the bitcoin addresses in order for most (all?) bitcoin clients to broadcast the transaction.[1][2]

Yeah. It seems silly to perform this transaction all at once. The size of this transaction magnifies the consequences of any sort of error and attracts what I'm guessing is very unwanted attention.
