Wait a second, why do we need to care about Peter Thiel's ideas about religion? Wikipedia says he's an American businessman.

He is looking after number #1 and the rest is flim-flam.
Because his sexuality got drawn into the debate by some opportunistic fools, he has secured significant sway in communities who believe its sacred-private, and sailed under the radar into law, and won. That empowered him as "he can win" which attracted Trump amongst others.
He has echoes of Bezos: whatever he wants, is justified because he wants it. This is bankable around the table of $b people who are tired of being lectured by Actors at Davos.

#5Apparently David Perell is a mind reader... He's never Met Peter Thiel, didn't ask Peter Thiel yet seems to know what Peter Thiel thinks.
This is a nothing burger of a story.. a waste of pixels.
