#5My open question is whether in the coming 2-3 years there will be a significant paradigm shift in programming languages, or not.
My bet is that a combination of new, purpose-specific languages, together with "real" AI, will have a chance to have a big impact.

#7APL (Dyalog), J, Prolog, Rebol (Red is on the list), PicoLisp, Racket, Factor, 8th (Reva was mentioned and that was the creator's prior project), and Haskell.
Maybe most of the above are too mainstream for the list.
