This is comparing an unreleased CPU to a two year old one. But more importantly, it gives no information on how the Intel CPU was configured and we have no idea what kind of memory it was paired with. It's just comparing two random user submissions. The 9980XE launched Q4 2018, did you mean 2 quarter old? This also seems to imply Intel has something else better is due for release in the next year, there is nothing on the roadmap.

Because that's an extreme OC bench at +800 MHz and this was a stock run. Check the .gb4
