That's another, separate problem to be solved and doesn't make this change any less good.
Although I guess it is vaguely relevant as NY does have a large Jewish population.

And in Judaism you must circumcise in order to signify your acceptance of an ancient religious covenant. Without this acceptance the religion is castrated, eviscerated, made null. Which is of course the sole goal of its critics.
There's also solid scientific evidence it contributes some health benefits, but we can and should ignore that.

Critics are not only happy to eliminate permanently this population, that is their goal, and the goal of all that promote this agenda.

That’s really unrelated. I get that it seems analogous to you, but it’s weird to me that a cats claw is similar to a foreskin in your mind. Declawing is much more like cutting off the cats fingers

it's a state-allowed form of mutilation for the sake of convenience, and very rarely medically indicated.
the furthest reach is that one is a human practice -- the rest of it seems pretty relatable.
Does the fact that cat declawing has no religious adherents bother you with regards to the comparison?
That's understandable, but it doesn't make the two less comparable, just more sensitive to argue about.

I think it’s pretty disingenuous to suggest that not allowing foreskin amputation nullifies all of Judaism. Many Jewish people whose parents decided not to circumcise them grow up to have fulfilling spiritual and cultural lives. No one does a dick check when you walk into synagogue.
There are many ways to maintain the symbolic importance of circumcision without resorting to unnecessary amputation, such as cutting a small mark in the foreskin to symbolize circumcision.
