That's different though. This video has been released by the perpetrator. Do you think beheadings videos released by ISIS should be easily accessed by anyone on Facebook?

This video is fascist propaganda. It isn't neutral. It also isn't "purged from the internet".

I don't think this can really be considered propaganda. It functions more to shock, insult, and potentially "brag". I think it is almost impossible that this video can garner support for white supremacist causes in anyone other than an already deeply racist and violent person. Seeing this unfold only portrays the shooter as a cowardly psychopath.

What law makes possession of the video illegal? The post mentioned "possession of objectionable material" is illegal, but that sounds way to vague.

NZ and Australia have censorship laws. Needless to say LGBTQ texts were censored far more than straight ones.

The video in question was not filmed with a gopro on the rifle. The gopro was on his hat/helmet. Perhaps you should be raging against helmet mounts for gopros, which facilitate this sort of crime no less than gun mounts?

(In fact, the helmet mounts facilitate live streamed mass murder more than rifle mounts do. Mass murderers often bring along numerous guns and would have to spend time swapping the camera between guns.)

If anything, I think censorship is what causing the rage of those people. A meaningful discussion about immigration is frowned upon and anybody who object mass immigration or immigration from certain places is immediately branded and silenced. What we need is more free speech in NZ and AU, not less, in order to prevent the next shooting.

I'm a defender of free speech and am completely against actions like Reddit banning /r/watchpeopledie. But here's the response from Liveleak which (somewhat surprisingly) I found clarified my own thoughts on the matter: https://www.liveleak.com/view?t=uSQT_1552831454

This. I do agree that there should be a warning about the content, but trying to block it from viewing at all is showing a dark pattern of Google, Facebook, etc. and Governments being able to dictate what your eyes can and can't see.
