I'm nervous about what this means for the future of nginx's built in load balancing. That's been an important and rock-solid part of my infrastructure.
With everything that is going on with open source licensing this certainly can create a bit of worry down the line. Interesting to also see what aws is doing in response to some of the more complicated licensing agreements and specifically elastic search: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/opensource/keeping-open-source-... when visiting Taiwan and then Hong Kong in the late 1990's, a local said "there are no software companies here" .. everything with money had a hardware sale associated, software was just pirated as much as possible, end of story.. no one would pay for software if they did not have to.. It may be a "western" thing to have companies and people that can live from writing only software
