Google is at it's core an ad company, not a search company. So they have backed off crawling the entire internet and only crawl what has a business return for them. Combine that with carefully curating the results they publish, it can barely even be called a search engine at this point. I get more relevant results from DDG at this point.
> So they have backed off crawling the entire internet and only crawl what has a business return for them. What's the difference between Google's web crawler and DuckDuckGo's web crawler? > Combine that with carefully curating the results they publish, Google carefully curates? I thought that Google's search results is based on the users behavior? Are they carefully manipulating everyone's results?
