#5Cue complaints about cats eating birds. And be sure to cite that one source that everybody cites just to make it sound reasonable to keep cats imprisoned.
I had two indoor outdoor cats that would run up to my car and hop in. I would go pick them up because I had a GPS collar on them. Some old lady stole one of them and she was super surprised when I showed up with his picture.

That video is great. It's short, well organized and after watching it, I feel like I could recreate the project without any further research.

#8The inside box is poorly located because they can't overlap in this model.
In this case it would be better to just have one detection box, and say 'pet is at door'

Same. And we also have some neighborhood cats that occasionally hang around. We'd need to train the network to recognize which cat is by the door...
