I use both and the last year has been the single best year I've had with Linux in terms of 'it just works', before that I used Ubuntu and while it was generally fine I prefer Fedora.
The cinnamon spin is superb and it makes windows 10 feel clunky by comparison on the daily usability.

I settled for an Amazfit Bip, which is not a Pebble but in some respects it's the closest thing there is right now AFAIK. Battery lasts a month, screen is not e-ink but it's always on (I believe LCD), watchfaces are customizable but there's not a lot of good ones since the resolution of the screen and the colors aren't great. The design is terrible. I never use the touchpad for anything regular keys wouldn't do better. The keyboard on my 2017 MBP13 failed three times in the year I've owned it.
