#62Terrible book. Please, please read Graham Hutton's Programming in Haskell. LYAH is full of incorrect definitions and broken analogies. Hutton on the other hand is up there with K&R for clear and concise definitions.

But it costs $59 dollars, and you don't have the option of buying a print book. LYAH is more appealing for early learners, since it's free.

#68It is very much written by a (young) 20-something targeting other 20-somethings with a similar sense of humor. Came out in 2011, which puts the author at 24 years old. So ... you know.
Went to high school with the dude for 4 years. He's cool.
