I hear this a lot but I keep seeing more and more Ruby devs moving to it trivially and as someone who reads-not-writes Ruby code I find it just as trivial to grok it. So I think the differences are there but they’re being overstated from a transfer of skills standpoint.

I'm going to retract my statement about Sails. I had a lot of trouble with it when I went to use it, but I thought it was just me. It seems it really is crappy as well.

I target it. My daily driver is Antergos or Ubuntu depending on how I'm feeling and how crappy GNOME is on any given year.
Nice. I browse with gallium on a Chromebook but I have a desktop at home with elementary. A little fancy but tolerable. Still not quite the Year of the Linux Desktop... Any year now....
