This is clearly different from a remote desktop app.
I'm 100% sure this would be allowed back in if they built it without the ability to make purchases...

I don't think this is GDPR compliant, the choice is either track or go to another website. Yes, Amazon needs your delivery and billing address, but they don't need the delivery address after delivery. So you can request them to delete it pronto! And the billing stuff has to be kept for 5 years, and must be used for tax administration purposes only, no spam, etc.
I am not really suprised by this, buying games and then play them outside of the appstore is not exactly in the spirit of the apples guidelines.
