Am I missing the racial component here? It just sounds like a very religious woman who was concerned about them wearing metal shirts. I've had people freak out over the same thing, as have my metalhead friends. All white.

Police should have made sure they rejoined the group and then taken the mother who called aside to have a talk with them.
