#5Surely better to get an at-least-vaguely-friendly warning pre-implementation rather than a post-implementation block?
I would much prefer censorship circumvention to be possible, but I have some sympathy for platform providers not wanting their customers and their platform to be conflated so easily.

#7Sorry, I'm not on board with using an Amazon owned domain for this. That's got the potential to get Amazon itself blacklisted in some places, so they're absolutely not going to be okay with it.

In this specific case, or in general? The former has merit, the latter isn't realistically tenable in 2018 for many shops.
