That doesn’t work well for toolbars which have text labels ( like bookmarks or a windows style taskbar).

#5I have to say, I really miss the 4:3 ratio on tablets, as I do most of my reading there. I've been trying to read now via landscape orientation and scrolling down the page.
It works (kinda) but I miss having the whole page at a view...

#6Well, I really like being able to put a code editor on the left and then a browser, terminal, document, LaTeX output on the right of the screen without them becoming too constrained horizontally. But probably this is a very particular use case?

#8Outside of gaming and videos I pretty much never full screen anything. Just put two windows side by side and 16:9 (and wider) starts to make a lot more sense.

I have the dock on the left of all of my Macs .

#10Happy to see the Surface line called out there, love the 3:2 screen on my Surface Book. So much more usable space than the traditional 16:9/10.
