I am 52 and making a career transition into software engineering, and I'm delighted I was selected to take a coding challenge for the interview process for a fellowship program in AI. I've been a devoted autodidact for 6 months of stats, linear algebra and such, but remain a rookie coder. I took the full Python course at Codecademy but lack confidence in this, my first project, and the deadline is this Friday at 9 am PST.
