You can already get more than 100Mbps out of a Raspberry Pi using a USB Link cable (aka Windows Transfer cable). They are less than $5 online and you get around 160Mbps on a Raspberry Pi 1 (haven't tried it on y Raspberry Pi 3 yet).

However, the hardware now feels old and I wish for more of an update from the Pi foundation. If anyone hear is looking for a true upgrade on the Pi, try the ODROID C2, it's years ahead of the Pi in terms of performance.

However, the ODROID C2 is priced similarly to the Pi and has more support than the XU4. LibreELEC has out of the box support for the C2.

Yeah, although adding usable wireless is a big bonus - I wish it had 2-4GB of RAM and I wish you could put the USB ports into gadget mode like you can with the zero, but preferably at least two or more ports that can work with it. Also - I’m really disappointed there’s still no GbE.

The last time I checked out the Asus Tinker it was still suffering from horrendous software support and cost nearly twice as much in the UK (which it still does, £32 vs £55). So unless you NEED those extra features, I strongly disagree.
