I've never met a junior dev that could hold a candle to me, and most senior devs I know are the same...we're coding monsters.
- Better (usually simpler) designs.
- Breaking the problem and choosing the order in which things are implemented.
- Setting up usefull feedback loops.
- etc, etc.
It is a lot about judgment.
