I use that but it's all Google based. Not sure if you can decouple it from Play Services without breaking everything.

#8This already exists for businesses with Samsung Knox / Android for Business. No it's not a full OS but it fits all of their needs and separates data. Having one OS in a "vm" on a phone sounds horrible UX wise.

OP here. I actually liked the pointers to F-Droid apps, too. I'm on LineageOS. I've used F-Droid for years but mainly for things like Adaway. Timber and notes apps look interesting, also K-9 of course.

Are you using Lineage OS on a Pixel? I don't seem to be able to find that on the LineageOS website.
