They upgraded it to 8.4 after.
I appreciate those kinds of quick release cycles. I'm hoping that when they upgrade to 9.0 we get some new features though.

Unlikely. Have not seen it for other types of grid damage.

How much do those things cost? I'd love to see every fireworks show end with blowing one up, watching the world change color for a few seconds is very surreal.
Page 49 lists some prices in a table. It looks like they range from $40,000 to $50,000 (AUD) for a pole-mounted transformer
