I think the one requirement for this design was:

"Just don't make it a bag and have the consumer have to squeeze it" - c.f. Juicero

I wish more companies put out there the rationale for their design choices. Not sure why a lot of comments here are so negative about them doing their job and communicating it.

Yeah I thought they'd just go with a tetra Pak and move on

But it would t make a nice blog post of be as distinctive brandwise
