I missed the Windows 10 free upgrade and now regretting it.
I really like most of windows 10. My main complaint is the start menu, I have yet to figure out how I'm supposed to use it

a bit off-topic, are there cheaper ways to buy a windows 10 license than directly from microsoft for $200? (I'm not a student).

Microsoft is so frustrating. On the one hand, they really seem earnest about wanting to make Windows 10 appealing to people like me who fled Windows for Unix-alike systems long ago. And steps like this show that they're not just addressing that at a shallow level, but are willing to dig deep to make it happen, which is sincerely encouraging.
