One way to work on this is by first posting comments on forums like HN on the topic you want to write about and see if it gets torn to shreds as wrong, stupid and dangerous. If so, figure out what you are doing wrong that it is getting that reaction. If not, start blogging. You will probably be fine.

#13What do you mean wrong? Technically inaccurate? Know your tech. Test, so you can be sure. Cite your sources (e.g., provide a "learn more" list.) You'll do fine! Go for it.
