Pure genius. Just watching the ad make me want to by the phone.

Really? To be honest, it made me want to close the browser tab. Annoying, too much repetition; I got the point after hearing "hello?" two or three times. Also, I hate it when part of our cultural heritage is shamelessly used in ads.

Well, a lot of that cultural heritage was shameful hollywood crap in the first place.

I feel ads nowadays are worse than "cultural heritage is ... used in ads". They don't even have much cultural heritage at all.

This ad shows a genuine culture mark of answering a phone, and link it with the genuine leap-forward of that experience. That is ingeniously done and leave a wonderful impression.

Actually, I am not an American. I made my first phone call at age 12 or so. But it's easy to feel the genuine anticipation feeling in answering a phone. The moment to connect with someone possibly in a 1000 miles away. It no longer feels that exciting nowadays, sadly.

This ad reminds me the kiss scene here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjtJkBUVFVY

All things are personal, but I like this ad a lot.
