You would have to eliminate all carbs to achieve ketosis, not just cut on sugar which was the topic of this thread. It should be noted that, since an animal-based diet has a very large ecological footprint, if a significant part of the world population switched to it, we would have an unprecedented global environmental crisis, unless alternative forms of animal diet (e.g. insects) become mainstream.
