I have been around for a while (C++, Smalltalk, Java, Scala) but my recent experiences are in the Node.js and Meteor world (frontend + backend). Until last week I was backend developer and CTO of an education startup, but we were not profitable and shut down. If you want to hire a distributed team there are several of my colleagues that are also looking for new horizons.
