Workshop Lesson (all the following at entry level): Html/Css, Java, C, SQL
Other Lessons (in Titles): Introduction to Computer Science Pascal Computer Architecture Operating Systems 1 Data Communication Electronics and Digital Calculations Telecommunications Operating Systems 2 Network Management 1 Computer Networks 1 (Wireshark) Network Safety Telephone Centers Network Management 2 Installation Networks (Structured Wiring) Mobile Telephony Computer Networks 2
The workshop lesson takes place at a lab with about 10 computers (2 students per computer) with windows 7 and Ubuntu (with some kind of server connected to them) installed. Also for any addition software we want to install, the administrator needs to come and type his password. Last but not least I don't think the computers could handle VM's.
So far we have come with a few ideas: Cisco Packet Tracer (Educational) PHP (But we will lose much time on installation of Apache, PHP, Mysql, etc and we want something more close to networks and communications; we have a general idea of programming and it would be waste of time to learn again the if, case , while, etc)
Truth is we don't have the infrastructure we need to do what we really studying like setup and configuration of networks but we try to work with what we have.
The question is: What would you teach at this class, at the workshop lesson?
