Michael was one of our group partners during S16, and I cannot think of a person better suited for this position than him. I'm surprised they got to shutdown YC Fellowship; is it already shut down, or they are planning on that next year.

Without YC how one could get access to YC network and get one to one advice without moving to bayarea?

online classes are not really one to one advice.

The theme of YC Research seems to be futurology.

I would say: automation & AI:

- automated cities & robotic workers - HARC working on the interfaces for the "workers" - basic income to replace minimum wage earners' incomes

Would love to work on this path!

Does Paul (pg) have an active role in YC? Asking as a curious outsider.

He normally still advises companies, but right now he's living in England for a year.
