#16> You should have full control over your data. We help you achieve that: a safe home for all your data. Secure, under your control and developed in an open, transparent and trustworthy way. This is a statement for ownCloud customers to join Nextcloud. It's filled with direct comparisons with ownCloud without telling its name. It's worded to make ownCloud customers feel like it's not safe to use ownCloud anymore. But maybe that's my paranoid self misinterpreting it.

I beleive that's a statement about the core value of NextCloud, one that you can perhaps get from the OwnCloud product too, but not beeing a core value of OwnCloud Inc.
