I think it's hilarious how little the HN community knows about Chromebooks. I see a lot of excitement about WebAssembly. I also see a lot of people saying how java applets were obviously a bad idea, and deserved the obscurity they fell into.
I don't really understand how to reconcile those viewpoints. :/
