Yep I know, only problem is that you don't get feedback. (At least I didn't, I had 14 hits and no feedback so..) plus this thread have a better visibility/reach.

I am a late applicant. According to apps@ycombinator.com, late applications are still under process. All applicant will be eventually notified.

Keep at it. The best thing you can do is make as much progress as possible between now and W17.
Anecdotally, I'd say >50% of our batch applied more than once. The one thing we all had in common was traction/progress between applications. This is probably the single best thing you can do to increase your prospects of getting in, as it shows YC that you are 1)serious about working on this, and 2) capable of doing what you say you're going to do (which is to say, make something people want).

I had a look and I have quite a job understanding you. "Solving problems by reaching problems." Do you mean reaching or researching and if reaching, how do you reach a problem?
I imagine a lot of people looking would think be confused.

I imagine the system automatically sends a rejection email to all applicants where a human has not clicked an 'invite to interview' button.
