#7I'd guess that answer would be a respectful silence. I'd also guess that you'd not hear that kind of thing again for a very long time.
Violence sucks in theory, but it does have it's uses.
EDIT: Lots of downvotes, so let me explain my reasoning. The only alternative to my suggestion is to rely on the goodwill and good sense of others, or reforms in that direction. In general, this is an unreliable approach. People don't have that much good will or good sense. Gamers are usually physically wimpy, and a quick establishment of boundaries in a memorable, dramatic fashion would protect the person for a long time.

#10In my attempt to get her into gaming, I once brought my girlfriend to an indie game store to grab a controller. The kids there were in the middle of some card tournament. There was an audible COD Twitch stream on the TVs. As we're paying for the controller, a player on the screen yells "Damn dude! He got fuckin' raped!" No one in the store batted an eyelash. The only female in the store, my girlfriend, suddenly felt very uncomfortable. In the parking lot she told me she doesn't want to go into a video game store ever again.
