Thanks for sharing this, I've looked but haven't read enough on accessibility in real world use cases. Have you tried the iPad with anyone there? It may ratchet down the complexity some, and the accessibility features are very good.
Users are also very nearly pathalogically averse to new tech and devices. The suggestion has been made however.

And why should I care? I value truth far more than all that stupid politeness and tolerance to the inferior. If HN fundamental values are different I should stay as far away from it as possible.
