The only time I remember is when I tap a link just a hair too hard and it doesn't open because it went through a fraction of a second of the force touch action. I've never "hated" a feature on the iPhone. I very strongly dislike this one.

Does IBM have a patent for the hardware version of it?

This is yet another invention from PARC that was marketed/finished outside of Xerox.

The patent was initially filed in 1990 and granted in 1996. So it should have expired in 2013. It seems to be owned by Lexmark (which was owned by IBM.)

As indicated in the keynote, Apple views iPads as the future of personal computing. This was said multiple times by multiple people. I wouldn't be surprised to see the MacBook lines continue to stagnate.

I would expect refreshed Macbooks later this year.

I'm a woman with small hands, and I hardly ever use the reach-ability feature on my 6S Plus. I don't seem to notice that I can't type one-handed, I just type holding it and use the other hand to peck, but I love the larger screen size. It's very comfortable for me and you couldn't pay me to go back to a smaller size.

tl:dr; we all have our individual preferences. Glad there's now products for us all.

Sweden is not dense at all and we have a lot more data for a lesser cost. I don't think density of cities are the only explanation.

Sweden is roughly the size of California, and roughly 1/25th the size of Canada.

As for population density, Sweden is about 6x more dense than Canada (23 people / sq km vs 4, respectively).

It's comparatively a dense country.

That's what I was hoping for. Rainbow logo, beige trim. Maybe have a 3.5" drive accessory for the lightning port.

But developers are not the majority of customers.

Developers are the ones creating the apps for the majority of customers.

Ignoring the tools that developers and creatives use to create and sustain this thriving ecosystem is a very dangerous move on Apple's part. Skylake chips for the Macbook lines have been available for months and the Mac Pro hasn't been updated since 2013. OS X itself continues a long list of bugs and this only grows with "customer" features inevitably introduced down the line. El Capitan was supposed to give Apple a year to slow down and fix things but we have found it has been a huge problem in our work environment.

Datacenters don't run on iPads stacked in a rack, media companies don't play stuff out of an iPhone with a dongle. Xcode alone is the single reason OS X is still incredibly relevant. I don't see Jony Ive designing the latest iOS devices on an iPad for years to come and ignoring these professionals is not a good move.

Here's to WWDC, when the Skylake chips suited for the Macbook line were introduced 9 months prior.

I guess I assumed they weren't impressed with this statement "I'm not sure the SE is going to push me over the edge just yet"

If the SE doesn't push you over the edge from an iPhone 4, then I don't know what will... iPhone 28?

Start using the keyboard trackpad for moving the cursor, selecting and deleting words, paragraphs or the whole text input. It's the killer app.
