Mike Isaac from the NYT had a good response: https://twitter.com/mikeisaac/status/701918200305418244 Zenefits is more silly than the stereotypical startup. Even a joke in HBO's Silicon Valley is not as silly as what's being reported at Zenefits.
They've hit that sweet spot on the controversy spectrum where you could pretty much say anything about Zenefits and have it be believable. The WSJ article makes it sound like being a teacher in a rough and tumble high school.
