    The point is to take carbon out of the cycle. Not mining petroleum would of course have the same effect but good luck getting people to do that.

    IME car sales tax are captured by the registering arm (DMV). You absolutely pay local sales tax on amazon, not Washington salestax. Taxation is about nexus of transaction.

    Downside to onshape is its generally a different use case than SketchUp. I use both for work and almost no overlap in their applications for me.
