    The App Store is a very successful distribution engine and marketing service, most devs I know are quite pleased with it's existence and Gatekeeper ultimately will make it stronger…

    Microsoft seems confused, but I am genuinely interested in Windows 8 and Metro. Hopefully they ditch their legacy stuff though and make a clean break a la iOS/OS X

    The ultimate echo chamber is still alive and well, mostly because it aims to flatter a small group of loud "influencers". Reasonably effective marketing strategy in that sense.
