    We use GAE for Pulp Sync (acrylicapps.com/pulp). It's scales very well if you handle requests quickly and take advantage of the memcache and taskqueue APIs.

    Cappuccino is my favourite, although the included AppKit framework is large and slow at times. If you rebuild AppKit without Aristo and all the default images it loads quickly.
