My co-founder and I are preparing to apply for the W2016 batch by writing responses to application questions used in past batches. However, the format is a bit awkward for multiple founders and we're left with two questions:

1. The instructions indicate that responses should be limited to 120 words. On questions where each founder would respond separately, should we apply this limit to each of our individual responses or to our combined response? (In the latter case, it seems like companies with several founders would need to resort to caveman talk to stay within the limit.)

2. On this question: "Please tell us about the time you, daveyjones, most successfully hacked some (non-computer) system to your advantage." This is one of the few questions that actually indicates which founder should respond. However, both my co-founder and I have great examples to put here. Should we just ignore the instructions?
